Using Freecell3D - Saving and Loading
Freecell3D allows you to save a Game at any position. When you save a Game it also stores all the moves you have made so you can still Undo and Redo moves after loading. Freecell3D also saves a small picture of the Game position (a Thumbnail ) which allows you to browse through saved games easily.
Saving a Game
To save a Freecell3D Game use the Save or Save As items in the File menu or use the Save button on the toolbar. Ctrl-S can be used as a shortcut for "Save". "Save" will save the game using the current filename, while "Save As" allows you to specify a new filename. Freecell3D Games will be automatically be saved with the extension "f3d".
Loading a Game
To load a saved Game use the Open item in the File menu or use the Open button on the file menu. Ctrl-O can be used as a shortcut. The Open dialog will be displayed. If you click once on a Freecell3D saved game you will see a small Thumbnail of the Game appear in the preview window to the right. The Date and time the game was saved will also be displayed along with the Game Score.
Note: Up to the four most recent games saved or loaded appear on the file menu to allow you to load them simply by clicking on them.
Auto Save / Load
There is an option to enable Auto Save in Freecell3D. This ensures that the current Game is always saved when Freecell3D is exited. The Auto Saved Game will the be automatically loaded when Freecell3D next starts. If multiple users use PC by logging on with different usernames then a separate Auto Saved game will be stored for each of them.
