Setting Game Options
With this option set, you will see the cards being dealt from the pack whenever you start a game. To control the rate at which the cards are dealt use the Auto Move Interval.
If Auto Save is enabled the current game position will be saved each time Freecell3D is exited. The game position will then be reloaded the next time Freecell3D starts.
Here you can specify the location for the file that Freecell3D uses to Auto Save games. Usually you will not heed to change this as Freecell3D automatically finds a suitable location. To set an alternative either type the name directly into the box or use the browse button.
If Record Statistics is ticked, then Freecell3D will keep a record of the Games you have completed successfully, and those you have not. Disabling Record Statistics does not clear the existing statistics, it just prevents them being added to. See Statistics for more information.
Reset Statistics
This button clears your current statistics. See Statistics.
The section lets you control the Undo characteristics of Freecell3D. For more information see Undo, Redo, and Goto.
Undo Mode
Here you can select how many moves Freecell3D will allow you to use. The options are:
- Full Undo: Allows you to undo moves right back to the start of the game.
- Undo One Move: Allows you to undo only the last move.
- Disable Undo: Disables Undo entirely.
Multiple Undo is Assistance
If this option is ticked then using Undo to do two moves in succession will result in the game being considered as assisted. If you then complete the game, it will count towards game "solved with assistance" rather than "solved without assistance" (see Statistics).
If this is set then using the Goto function in the Moves Window will result in the cards being moved to the specified position as quickly as possible.
