Using Freecell3D - The Moves Window
The Moves Window displays a list of the moves you have made in the current Freecell3D game. To display the Moves Window, select Moves Window from the View menu. You can leave the Moves Window open as you play.
Each move you make appears as a line in the move window. The icons next to each line are described in the next topic.
The moves window has five columns:
No: The listed move number.
Card(s): The names of the card or (or cards for Compound Moves ) involved in the move.
From: The Column or Free Cell that the cards were moved from.
To: The Column, Free Cell or Home Cell that the cards were moved to.
SN: The move described in the Freecell "Standard Notation" (see below).
You can copy the list of moves to the clipboard at any time using Copy as text on the Moves menu. This allows you to paste the moves into most text documents and is particularly useful for sending solutions to friends via email. There is also an option to Copy Notation which uses a standard shorthand method preferred by many seasoned Freecell players. Note that most solutions described using standard notation assume that Auto Move to Home Cell is enabled in the Move Options.. Auto Moves are not shown in the standard notation column.
To hide the moves window, select Hide from its Moves menu.
Next topic: Undo, Redo, and Goto.
