Using Freecell3D - Starting a Game
Freecell3D always starts with a new game dealt, or if Auto Save is enabled, with the current position of the last game played. All Freecell3D deals have a unique number between one and two billion (2,000,000,000) - the Game Number. You can see the number of the current game in the status bar at the bottom of the game window (next to the current score).
Note: If the Game Window is too large or too small simply stretch it to the desired size - the cards and table will be scaled smoothly. For maximum effect, maximize the window to fill the entire screen.
The following items in the File menu control the various options for starting games.
New Game This start a new game with a randomly chosen game game number.
Specify Game This option allows you to choose from one of the 2 billion deals by entering a Game Number. The first 32,000 deals are the same as in the Microsoft® version of Freecell (the first 1 million in the case of the XP version).
Next Game This starts the game with the next numbered deal.
Restart Game This resets the cards in the current game.
Race This starts the Race Mode where you can compete against a computer opponent - more information is here.
Open This load a previously saved game - see here.
Next topic: Moving Cards.
